Ahh, summer. It’s that time of the year again where we exchange jackets for tank tops and jeans for swimming shorts as we go into our tropical escape between June and August.
With every season comes a different set of travel tools that you have to have to make sure your trip runs as smoothly as possible, and here are our top five:
1. Summer hat
While having a hat any season of the year is very handy, sporting a quirky summer hat will add flavor to your trip. Five years from now, it would be easy to tell that you went on a trip summer of 2017 just by looking through your photos. This is also your go-to item on days when you don’t feel like fixing your hair.

You will be under the sun and sweating a lot during summer trips, and you can lessen the hassle by trimming those unwanted facial hair. That is, if you’re the type that prefers keeping it smooth over growing some facial hair.
3. Tropical tee
Comfort and style—who says you can’t have both? If you wish to look all festive and summery
4. Water-resistant phone
Other options may be to get a waterproof case or use a GoPro if you plan to take a lot of photos and videos.
5. White sneakers
In Old San Juan you navigate narrow cobblestone streets awash in a sea of blue hues to seek out #MakeYouSmileStyle moments. Safe to say it was my kinda town! ??? Also, I've not stopped wearing these @nike's from @jcrewmens for the last month or so – beyond comfortable and so versatile! ???✔️ #MrBazaarTravels
Even if you’re going to a tropical island this summer, never just pack a pair of slippers. Always have a cool white pair of kicks for when you manage to score a date or get invited to a brunch party.
